Rush Hair Leicester
Amongst the generous bubbles and nibbles, a number of stations were set up for us to try. We were able to test out ideas for up-do’s (perfect for me as I have a wedding today so I’ll be replicating the loose side-bun style that was suggested for me).
There was also a GHD station where people were getting luscious curls put in, or unwanted frizz taken out! All of the styles were quick and simple, so great for getting inspiration to try yourself, but equally perfect for popping in to get a quick blowdry after work if you have a special evening event.
I particularly enjoyed chatting with Shane who gave us a great cut and colour consultation, thinking about how to maintain my current bright colours, refresh my roots and even looking at combining colours with highlights. He also suggested a really daring cut idea for me – keeping the length at the front and going super short at the back – with enough versatility for putting it up, wearing it well despite my cycle helmet and more! Watch this space to see where I go with that one…

Of course, we were surrounded by glamourous bloggers and beautiful stylists, so as ever I felt the thorn between the roses! We had the gorgeous Hollie Rose, the ever-lovely Stephanie from FAIIINT, Amy Elizabeth Porter, who is just celebrating her first blog anniversary and more besides. so pop along and check out their blogs for beauty, style, Leicester lifestyle and more.

Many thanks to Rush for inviting us along. They are having a special opening day tomorrow so get yourself booked in and take advantage of the party – there will be exclusive offers, bubbles and great products to try – if the lovely goodie bag we were given is anything to go by you’ll be in for a real treat.
Thanks for the invitation!
Thanks so much for your very kind review!
