Have you got out and tried the Leicester Tapas Trail yet? If you don’t know what I’m talking about, where have you been? Until Sunday 18th October you can get a drink and a bite to eat for just £3 at some of the finest independent pubs and bars in the city. For full details check this page.

We’ve already been to Bossa, and now I’ve popped along to another of the venues to check out their Tapas Trail offering – the homely yet hip Exchange on Rutland Street, opposite the Curve Theatre.

The Exchange have come up with a specially matched platter for the Tapas Trail. An half pint of ale or lager is yours to enjoy with a tasting platter including deliciously warm, fluffy bread and a selection of antipasti – a delicious prosciutto ham, soft and creamy mozzerella, sweet sundried tomatoes, rocket salad all dressed with olive oil and an excellent quality balsamic vinegar. It’s absolutely delicious and definitely a dish I will be returning to enjoy a couple of times over the Leicester Tapas Trail season!

How have you found the Tapas Trail so far? Which is your favourite venue?
