Glenstock at The Forge Inn, Leicester

Yesterday the sky was blue (for the most part) and the residents of Leicester village, Glenfield, came out in force for Glenstock at the Forge Inn. This is an annual charity event held to raise money for good causes – this year notably Rainbows children’s hospice. If you missed it, you can still donate on their website.I’ve never embedded a tweet before, but here goes. If it doesn’t work I’ll faff around with it later! This is one of my favourite photos from the day and we loved this band too!

There was a good mix of music, something to suit all tastes. There was a BBQ on site to keep you fed and of course the beer was flowing. Everyone was in good humour and during the afternoon there was a real family atmosphere. Definitely a great day out for all concerned and a real bonus to have some quality local live music. Long may it continue!
